Privacy policy
WorkoutCard is made by Spherify Pty Ltd ("we", "us"), an Australian company. This policy explains what happens to information in the WorkoutCard app for iPhone and iPad, and on this website (`workoutcard.com`). A WorkoutCard app for Android is in development and this policy will be updated before it is released. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
The short version
- Everything you enter in the app stays on your device. We do not operate a server that stores your training programmes, workout logs or personal records.
- The app has no account, no sign-in and no advertising.
- The built-in biomechanical programme engine runs offline on your phone.
- If you choose to add your own Anthropic, OpenAI or Google Gemini API key in Settings, your key is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and requests go directly from your phone to that provider.
- We never sell, rent or share your information.
Information you enter in the app
You may record training briefs, generated programmes, custom exercises, workout sessions, sets, weights, reps, RPE, set work durations, rest intervals and session notes. All of this is stored only in the app's local database on your device (SwiftData on iOS), protected by the encryption built into iOS. We do not collect it, receive it or have any way to access it.
If you delete the app or choose "Reset All Training Data" in Settings, your records are deleted from your device.
Optional cloud AI keys (BYOK)
WorkoutCard includes a deterministic on-device programme generator that requires no internet connection. In Settings, you may optionally enter your own API key for Anthropic Claude, OpenAI or Google Gemini so that custom natural-language brief notes are processed by that model.
- Your API key is saved only on your device, in the iOS Keychain, and is never sent to Spherify Pty Ltd.
- When you generate a plan with a cloud provider selected, the app sends your training brief and the list of compatible exercise IDs directly to `api.anthropic.com`, `api.openai.com` or `generativelanguage.googleapis.com` under that provider's privacy policy.
This website
`workoutcard.com` is served by Cloudflare Workers, which processes your IP address and standard HTTP request headers to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.
If you contact us
If you email us at support@getreplogic.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use your message only to reply and keep it only as long as needed to help you.
Your rights & complaints
Because your training records are stored only on your device, you control them directly: you can view, edit or delete them in the app at any time. If you have a privacy question or complaint, email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
